Fire and water exposure can cause serious damage on machinery, on commercial
equipment and on industrial equipment especially. Typically, acid chloride
vapour is released subsequent to a fire. Soot and water aside, this contaminant
causes more serious damage to exposed surfaces including building structure,
equipment and machinery - flash rust starts to appear on metal surfaces along
with the start of a deterioration process.
Together
with a chemical firm and an industrial chemist, TREXO has specifically developed
an oil (RPO) to resolve the problems linked to contaminated equipment and to
counter the progression of rust and corrosion caused by water and fire damage.
This oil is a high solvent base agent. It penetrates the metal surface and
leaves a slight, almost undetectable film of oil on the metal. This oil treatment, applied on several types of equipment, machinery and surface very quickly, translates into outstanding benefits for insurance adjusters and insurers. Rushing to prevent serious damage is no longer a concern as the rust preventive oil treatment immediately stops any further deterioration of the surface.
Another typical use of RPO applies to closing a plant for a long period of time. This also is relevant to equipment, to rust and to rapid damage as well. In fact, when a plant closes, there is a very high probability of serious damage if surfaces are not protected by oil or a similar material. This damage applies, not only to machinery but also to all unprotected metal equipment such as MCC’S, conveyors, compressors, screws, electronics, controls, etc.
In the final analysis, our rust preventive oil treatment is a highly cost effective solution in preventing the deterioration to equipment and machinery.
The protection of equipment by rust preventative oil spray is available onsite in Ontario, Quebec and the Maritimes.
